Dororohedoro: The Anime feels so raw and fresh, the aestetics presented in this anime are so damn cool! The fashion is super fun but also serves as a means of converying the dystopian feel of the world, with lots of things being utilitarian and also trashy. Also the story has me on the edge of my damn seat, the cliffhangers are tooooo much. Also the relationships are so intresting. Caimen and Nikaido have such a strong conncection, despite their lack of not really knowing eachother, it feels very in the momement between those two which is also representatvie of their setting since you're never able to relax, it's always in the moment in the Hole. Anyways I really love this anime! Interview With the Vampire: Dude this shit slaps. The characters development is so good and so fun. There's so many nuances that the show presents and portrays phenomenally. I also like how this modern adaptation has Louis as a black man rather than white as in previous iterations of the show, it creates so much more tension given the setting is something like 1920s Louisiana, in the first couple epsodes atleast. Anyways this is a must watch. This is it by The Strokes: This was probably my top album of 2025 and rightfully so. It's got this fun feel good beat and it's also kinda gritty at the same time, it just feels so right! Every song is memerable and a certified banger. Midnight Mauraders/Low end theory by A Tribe Called Quest: Boy if you don't listen to these albums right now you are making a damned mistake cause these jazzy afrocentric hip hop records are so funk, thoughtful, and an absolute vibe. Madvilliany by Madvillian: This collaberative rap album by MF DOOM and Madlib is so genius. They are such a good duo, the sampling of comic greats this transatlatic comic book world where the villian spreads his chaos and it's such a fun world to enter. The songs all hit and are so ingenius, like wow, just wow. Choclate and Cheese by Ween: Ween is weird as hell, I was put onto this band by a very dear friend adn he insisted I needed to listen to all their stuff. I like a lot of it but I think this album is very accesible to most people it's still got their weird stuff but also some more mainstream esque bops, super fun, genuinley makes me laught everytime I listen to this. Dummy by Portishead: I love this album it makes me feel so etheral and dreamy. It has the super unique feel, it's in the triphop genre and I highly recommend this whole albums. mwah The miseducation of Lauryn Hill: Lauryn Hill is such an esoteric lightened soul and here unique individuality makes her production so fresh and fun, this hip hop album is so thoughtful and fun, the samples of the classroom talking in each song is something that I often think about when thinking of love, genuinly profoudn and incredible. Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder: So good, period. Yankee Hotel Foxtrop by Wilco: Super fun record, and I got to see them live so it's even better! Fallout tv series: This was super fun to watch especailly since I've played and loved fallout4 and New Vegas. The world building is so good and the characters within it are so engaging, and I love each of their individual soties which are each individualy highlighted which I love. The Ghoul is my fav. The Money Store by DeathGrips: Few reading this will ever like the Deathgrips and that is ok, it sounds like a homelessman screaming in a nuclear powerplant. I used to hate it but like some of my favorite things, such as coffee, it has grown on me over time and I now love this album, it definetly scratech some raw primal itch that I need during certain chaotic moods. Either/Or by Elliot Smith: This is probably one of my favorite albums of all time, I know every lyric to every song it's just so good and such a classic that I can alwasy come back to. The Beatles: this may be the most important reccomentdation as far as music goes, they are my everything. They were my introduction to music and they really should be everyones because the gang is so good, they had so many revolutionary ideas as far as production, creativity etc. They also frontiered many of the youth movements of the time such as th hippie movment and their later records defintly show that with their progress and radicall ideas. But literally they are the GOAT, not even up for debate. Fantastic Planet: This movie is incredibly weird and bizzare in an almost eldritch way. The animation is very captivating the the story is super weird I'm always enjoying every bit of it. Redline: I love this movie, it's an anime and it's just so fun, the world is super intresting with a galactic race. The main character is iconic and his story is super intresting. The movie is also very rewarding. Akira: This classic anime movie is so cool. The world is reminant of cyber punk and the visuals are insane especially one you learn it was all done by hand. It's also an important watch if you care about understanding cultural refrences, like the motorcycle slide in this movie is everywhere once you recognize it. The ideas it presents are also super intresting. Just an insanely good movie.
